Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data NearlyNative collects while you use this site, why, and the choices you have. NearlyNative is an early-stage product testing whether short audio drills help adults sharpen their spoken English.
Who we are
The data controller is Conceptlab Ltd, 8 Alabin str, Sofia, Bulgaria, 1000. For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@nearlynative.app.
What we collect, and why
- Anonymous usage analytics (always on). We record basic, non-identifying events — for example that a page was viewed or a button was clicked — to understand whether the idea resonates. These carry no name, email, or account, and use a random per-visit identifier that is not stored on your device and is not linked to you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the service.
- Your email — to tell you when we launch. When you submit the early-access form, we store your email and the optional answers you give, so we can email you once, when NearlyNative launches — the reason you joined. Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the form.
- Optional product updates. If you also tick the optional box, we send occasional tips and product news until you unsubscribe. Legal basis: your consent (the checkbox).
- Ad measurement (only if you accept). If you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner, we load the Meta Pixel and send Meta a corresponding server-side signal so it can measure ad performance. Identifiers shared with Meta are hashed. Nothing here loads unless you accept. Legal basis: your consent.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare — hosts this site and routes our email.
- DigitalOcean — hosts the server that stores the waitlist.
- Meta Platforms — ad measurement, only if you accept tracking.
We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist email until you ask us to delete it, or until we wind down this early-access list — whichever comes first. The anonymous usage events contain no personal data and are not tied to you, so they cannot be traced back to an individual.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email privacy@nearlynative.app — we will remove your waitlist entry on request. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies and tracking
The only non-essential tracking is the ad-measurement described above, and it runs only after you accept. You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie settings” button in the corner of the site to withdraw consent.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
